About the Bengali Calendar 1433

Bengali Calendar, also known as the Bangla Calendar or Bong Calendar, is a solar calendar followed across Bengal. The current Bengali year is 1433 BS (Bengali Sambat). There are two versions in use today — the official calendar of Bangladesh, and the one followed in West Bengal, Tripura and Assam. The Bengali New Year, Poyla Boishakh, falls in mid-April, around the 14th or 15th. This site shows today's Bengali date, a monthly Bangla calendar, auspicious dates for ceremonies, major festivals and holidays, and a free English-to-Bengali date converter.
